Kim Kardashian has had it with people making fun of her short lived marriage to Kris Humphries and she went on TV to put a stop to it.

So Kim and her sister Kourtney Kardashian appeared on David Letterman last night, because they are promoting Season 2 of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and of course David (Who made his fair share of Kardashian Weddings jokes nearly two years ago when Kim actually got hitched) asked her how her divorce from 72-days of marriage to Kris Humphries was going.

Kim’s response?

“Those jokes really can’t work, because I’ve really been married for almost two years…So it hasn’t been 72 days, it’s been almost two years,” says Kim, who filed for divorce on October 31, 2011.

I think Kim was attempting some “self-deprecating humor” but the audience didn’t laugh until she begged Letterman for a final time, “Those jokes have to stop,” at which the audience erupted into laughter and sadly I don’t think they were laughing WITH her.

AWKWARD!

Letterman also grilled her on why she still isn’t divorced from Kris, to which she explained that he is suing her for fraud. Basically, Kim says that Kris claimed she married him for publicity.

To which Kourtney deadpans, “I think if she was going to do it for publicity, she’d pick someone that people knew!”

The audiences DIES when they hear this, while Kourtney flashes her trademark glassy-eyed stare.

This was a very awkward interview with very noticeable dead spots, so silent you could hear the inevitable pin drop.
